Posted on November 27, 2009 | Filed Under Confetti News |What’s a Big Balloon Parade at Thanksgiving without Confetti! From the clowns marching through the parade to Santa’s Sleigh appearing in a flury of white “Snow Like” Confetti, to the delight of children everywhere!
Thanksgiving is such a wonderful day. You have the three “F’s” – Family, Food and Fun! My family got topgether and gorged ourselves on Turkey, Sweet potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, wonderful Stuffing, Pumpkin pies etc.
It was a day filled wilth laughter, Wii, and finally a well deserved nap.
Her’s a great article form the Long Island Press on The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They had big balloons and of course… Confetti!

Confetti, Confetti, Confetti! Check Out Avalon in Hollywood!
Posted on November 23, 2009 | Filed Under Confetti News |Famed Club Avalon uses tons of confetti every night… Or is it every morning?
This just in from Ed Laskos of MyFoxLA.com …
Hollywood – When it’s last call in Hollywood, the party’s just about to start raging. When other night clubs are shutting down, the king of after hours steps in and cranks it up.
Like an underground Mardi Gras, confetti snows down everywhere. It’s a scene so crazy you can’t believe it’s happening right in the heart of Hollywood.

Butterfly Confetti, White Kittens and White doves for Mariah Carey!
Posted on November 19, 2009 | Filed Under Confetti News |Seems Mariah Carey is hosting the “Turning On Of The Christmas Lights” at the Westfield Shopping Centre in London this Holiday Season. ( Glad it’s not just us Americans looking for any excuse for a party!) As she should, she wants this to be an event! She made demands of the promoter to have 100 white doves, 20 all white kittens and white butterfly confetti to rain on her through the lighting…
Unfortunately the kittens and doves proved to be problematic, but she will have Butterfly Confetti!
Never fear Mariah, we can hook you up with the Butterfly Confetti, the same way we hooked you up on Good Morning America!
Mariah Carey is currently in London, staying at the posh Dorchester Hotel and preparing for an upcoming event, the turning on of the Christmas lights at the Westfield Shopping Centre. Since she promised fans attending it that it would be one of the most impressive, fancy and beautiful events of the sort they ever saw, Mariah made a list of demands, which also included being surrounded by 20 all-white kittens and 100 white doves, and that were promptly turned down, the Daily Mail writes (full story)

How Do I Launch The Confetti Or Streamers?
Posted on May 13, 2009 | Filed Under How Do I... |Using Confetti and Streamers might be a bit overwhelming if you’ve never had the opportunity to use them before. Don’t worry, it’s actually very simple.
Dimensions of the area you want the effect in:
You’ll need to determine the width and length of the area you want to cover and your ceiling height.
Type of launchers: The confetti and streamers can be launched in a number of different ways. You can either drop it from the ceiling by hand, use Confetti blowers to “blow” the confetti to your desired area or use Launchers to shoot the confetti or streamers. The only one that works well if you’re launching streamers is the launchers.
Handheld launcher versus Electric Automatic: This really depends on how many you need and how many streamers and/or confetti you want to launch. If you are covering a small area for example 40 feet wide and deep, you can use 2-4 32” handheld launchers to produce a nice effect. Remember you will need 1 person to launch them at each position they will be launched. They are very simpleto use! Once they are loaded, you pull the string trigger and away they go!
In a larger area, or if you want to truss mount the launchers or if you can’t use handheld launchers due to sight lines or lack of manpower, the electric launchers are the way to go. Our XC-2 Launcher is the same type of launcher that you see on virtually any concert, large theatrical production professional application. The reason, they work all the time. They are compact. They are light (25 lbs loaded) and they use easy to find compressed air.
In short, for many Church, School and smaller type functions the 32” handheld launcher will do a wonderful job for you. For bigger events where you’ll need to cover more area or need to fire the launchers electrically, the XC-2 is the way to go!
Good luck and call or e-mail us with any questions!
