Kabuki Handthrow Streamers – These are great for small parties, weddings, and any event that you need to minimize the mess made. These are small packets of streamers that you attach to your finger with a loop, They have a tissue paper cover on them, at abut 11:59 PM, you tear the cover off using the tab, and give the streamers a toss! Voila! A big burst of streamers! You can rip them off or reel them back in! (The streamers will unfurl to a full 15 feet!) These are a lot of fun… all the guests will love them! Confetti Flick Sticks -Nothing says Happy New Year on New Years Eve like confetti! For as long as I can remember, on New Years Eve, there was a TV on and Dick Clark was ringing in the new year in Times Square! At midnight there was always TONS of confetti.
Now you can create the same effect for your New Years Eve party and let your guests get in on the fun. these 14″ confetti sticks are loaded in each end with our tissue confetti, to launch them you simply raise your arm above your head, hang on tight to the flick stick, and give it a sharp flick! Medium to Large Size Parties – Perhaps these are in a banquet hall. The options above are still great, many people will incorporate the Handthrow STreamers or Flick Sticks into their Centerpieces. It’s always fun to let the guests get involved and they think it’s really cool! Often we want to create bigger effects, bigger bursts of confetti and streamers, really create a visual impact!
Here’s some options for bigger parties. These can be used for BIG parties too, the larger the area, the more of these you will need!
32″ Celebration Launcher Starter Kit
These are great for mid size New Years Eve parties. The kit comes with two of the 32″ handheld launchers, ten sleeves of confetti and streamers and 10 16 gram Co2 Cartridges. that’s enough for 5 shots from each launcher! The launchers will throw the confetti 45-65 feet up and out! They use 1 sleeve of confetti and/or streamers and one Co2 cartridge per cannon, per launch, so… that’s about 3500 piece of confetti, 120 of our 15′ streamers or 33 of our speedload streamers. Trying to figure out how many launchers you will need? I usually like to place a launcher every 30 feet, this way you will make sure you get nice even coverage. (Each kit comes with 2 launchers!) So if the area you want to cover is 120′ x 120′ you would get 16 launchers and place them every 30 feet throughout the room. Could you use less, perhaps, but one rule in the confetti business is a little more confetti than you need is a LOT better than not enough confetti!
XC-2 Confetti Cannon – These are Professional Confetti Cannons. We use these when we produce Effects for Taylor Swift, Blueman group, Mariah Carey etc.
The XC-2 has two barrels on them, each barrel will hold three sleeves of confetti and/or streamers. The barrels can be moved left and right and up and down. They are charged with compressed air, so you will need an air compresor. (Each launcher has it’s own air reservoir, so they don’t need to stay attached to the compressor.)

Confetti for Thanksgiving?

What’s a Big Balloon Parade at Thanksgiving without Confetti! From the clowns marching through the parade to Santa’s Sleigh appearing in a flury of white “Snow Like” Confetti, to the delight of children everywhere!
Thanksgiving is such a wonderful day. You have the three “F’s” – Family, Food and Fun! My family got topgether and gorged ourselves on Turkey, Sweet potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, wonderful Stuffing, Pumpkin pies etc. 
It was a day filled wilth laughter, Wii, and finally a well deserved nap.
Her’s a great article form the Long Island Press on The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They had big balloons and of course… Confetti!

The confetti is flying when Jim Demetros shows up to the 16th annual Balloon Parade in Stamford CT!
After throwing one of the largest and loudest parties in the UBS Parade Spectacular for the last decade, he is dubbed the “spin doctor.”
Because with dedication, a bull horn and a confetti machine, his 125-person gathering on Summer Street can get anyone to spin, said Jim Demetros, of Stamford.

Butterfly Confetti, White Kittens and White doves for Mariah Carey!

Seems Mariah Carey is hosting the “Turning On Of The Christmas Lights” at the Westfield Shopping Centre in London this Holiday Season. ( Glad it’s not just us Americans looking for any excuse for a party!) As she should, she wants this to be an event! She made demands of the promoter to have 100 white doves, 20 all white kittens and white butterfly confetti to rain on her through the lighting…
Unfortunately the kittens and doves proved to be problematic, but she will have Butterfly Confetti!
Never fear Mariah, we can hook you up with the Butterfly Confetti, the same way we hooked you up on Good Morning America!
Mariah Carey is currently in London, staying at the posh Dorchester Hotel and preparing for an upcoming event, the turning on of the Christmas lights at the Westfield Shopping Centre. Cool Confetti Idea – End the Decade in Times Square on New Year’s Eve!

Confetti has become synonymous with New Years Eve. Especially in Times Square, Ny, NY! This year you can leave your Good wishes for The New year and have them added to the confetti drop at midnight Dec 31, 2009!
Here’s the story from ABC news:
Visitors can also offer their wishes for the new year at the Times Square Information Center on Broadway between 46th and 47th streets. The wishes will be written on pieces of paper, displayed on a Confetti Wishing Wall at the information center, and then included in the shower of confetti that rains down on New Year’s Eve.
